MODI In America - I “...20 Years Back He Was A Visitor To US And Today He Has Been Invited To White House As The PM Of The Largest Democracy In The World…”

Modi..Modi…Modi…Modi…Modi…!!!!!! We have heard this slogan across India from a child to a old men and women, this mantra of Modi was chanted everywhere right from Vadnagar to Varnasi.

I remember on September 15th, when BJP nominated Narendra bhai as PM candidate, he started preparing for leading the world's largest democracy  India. He covered 3,00,00 kilometers conducting 437 rallies and 1350 3D rallies. He turned the opposition party’s comment as an opportunity to promote his image by “Chai Pe Charcha”.

His image is so influential that the Big Brother had to lift the visa ban on Modi, they were the one who rejected him to enter the land of opportunity and also.... there were the one who wanted him to provide the opportunity to work with the Indians, which takes the credit of being world’s youngest workforce with 65% population being lesser than 35 years.

The historic speech at Madison Square Garden (New York) which was witnessed by a crowd of 20,000 NRI’s, 15 plus Senators of US, VIP’s, crowd outside the Madison Square Garden, people who are eagerly tuning into the TV, YouTube, mobile apps and other e-device to be part of  celebration of joy were actually proud to be called as “The Indians”.

It was an amazing experience for NRI’s to be who they are but not who they are supposed to be. It was the day which has to be kept track off. What was special at Madison Square Garden..?? It’s the platform were The Beatles, Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi performed….??

But far more than that for Indians....It’s the platform where a tea seller in his childhood and now the Prime Minister of India gave a historic speech of our strengths and our capabilities.

Those who missed his historic speech, have to know what he spoke about and how he used the American land to give back the words which questioned about his integrity and pride.

Just watch out the punch lines he used and which gave the ‘Kick’ to the viewers and for Obamaisms…

1)      America, the oldest democracy in the world…..INDIA, the largest democracy in the world…

2)      All people from different parts have come and settled in one place known as America but we the Indians have been settled in each corner of the world.

3)      By 2020, the youngest workforce will be ruling over the oldest population in the world. This statement proves that the rule of Big Brother is going to end now…We Indians have advantage of Demographic Dividend which is 65% of population lesser than 35 years of age group whereas half of the US population is over 40 years.
This made Narendra Bhai Modi to say “India will not only lead the 21st century, it will also supply the world with workers such as nurses and teachers because populations elsewhere would have aged”

4)      We have ‘Talent’ and ‘Capability’ so only we have put space craft to the Mars at lesser cost than the Hollywood movie ‘Gravity’.

5)      1km auto charge in Ahmedabad cost you Rs.10 but ISRO’s MOM cost for 1km is just Rs.7

6)      We are here to tell the world that India is known for ‘Skill Development’ basically ‘Job Creator’ and ‘Job Qualifier’

7)      Call for “MAKE IN INDIA” which gives the world for the access of three important things:
a)      Human Resource
b)      Effective Government
c)      Low Cost Production

8)      Poorest of poor are involved in Governance of India.

9)      Jan-Dhan Yojana has created 1,500 crores of deposit in two weeks time with total of 4 crores of Bank account opened across India.

10)  I got here (to the post of PM) by selling tea…I am very small man, a common man. I am small, so my heart lies in working for the common man. But I want to do big things for the little people”

These are some of the top 10 punches which attracted the world leaders to look upon India has means for investment.

Why Modi has to say all these…???

This was strategically framed out, in-order to know the world, what we are capable of and also to crack the deal with Barack Obama’s government in order to agree upon the terms and conditions which is favorable to India.....

More to go........

MEN WHO IS GOING TO BUILD INDIA...Vs...BUILT AMERICA....!!!!!

I wonder what makes America one of the richest country in the world and have the title of Big Brother...The people residing in America doesn't have their roots to their origin...most of them are immigrants who came in search for jobs during industrial revolution in America...probably at the time of Andrew Carnegie's raise at the time of depression....

They are taught to be independent....They take risk...They invest more than save...They are the one who found the way of money multiplying effect and for which the proof is Wall Street...

The most important is education system....They have the curriculum in academics for "Entrepreneur", "Creativity & Innovation"....In India these are taught as VAP (Value added programme) that to only in Urban schools or colleges by trained public speaker....

Americans know the importance of Public Speaking...everyone tends to improve upon these skills...

So what went wrong in India...Why it's still in Under-developing country...

I could find many but would list few which could be the change:

Politicians:
I would not say Political System is the reason for this but would like to narrow it down to the root cause for it...and cause is Politicians...The hunger for the power has taken away the moral and social responsibility...they rather look for improving their wealth in there tenure of five years....We still get the promises from our politicians about getting the good roads, 24 hours water supply & electricity..we have to strive hard to get the basic needs and if we see one candidate doing that, he is elected for next 5 years...

but

In contrast...America, they rather strive to improve the lives of citizens of America much better than the previous government...I still remember how the "Health Care Reforms"made Obama to have sleepless nights...He would been seen in White house, getting burgers to his employees working late night....People protesting on roads, subways, in front of local government offices, in front of white house to get the issue resolved on Health Care policy...

Later Obama passed the bill of Health Care which eradicated the worst practices of insurance companies, annual and lifetime coverage caps, providing subsidies to poor to enable poor to buy insurance, web based insurance where consumers can compare the price and purchase plans etc...it was then known as Obamacare....

The politicians in America strive hard to improve the conditions of residents and make sure there needs are satisfied first...they think only about the improvement of economy as a whole...

Hope things are changing now in the land of oldest civilisation...INDIA...Thanks to Modi government, Modi is getting investments from foreign land which provides more direct and indirect employment opportunity to the residents of India...His recent visit to Japan has made the whole world to look at India in terms of human resource and skill sets and India, which is going to be the youngest population of workforce by 2020.

The Big Brother has rolled down the red carpet to our Guju guy to get the best out of India in terms of potential economic and trade ties between India and USA...but we have more expectations from our Prime Minister to get more investments to India....

We have to wait till Modi's visit to US on 29 September...!!!!!!!!

Story of Martyr Jaswant Singh Rawat – who is now Saint for Indian Army & Ghost for local villagers

Today August 15th celebrated as 68th year of Indian Independence Day, so I thought so surfing the real life stories of brave Indian soldiers, I read an article of brave soldier, Jaswant Singh Rawat who was bestowed with Maha Vir Chakra.

Who was he….??? Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat was a hero of 1962 Indo-China war, he was serving for 4th Battalion of Garhwal Rifles (well known combact arm of Indian Army). It was November 1962, Chinese army were invading in huge number through Northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh and Garhwal Rifles were asked to return back but Jaswant Singh and two other soldiers (the two soldiers were later wounded by Chinese firing, when they were crawling back to the Indian post) remained at the post at an altitude of 10,000 and were successful in capturing MMG (medium machine gun) from Chinese and somehow dragged to the Indian post and this was the turning point of the battle as Jaswant Singh alone resisted the Chinese soldiers entering the Indian borders for 3 days with the help of two local girls named Sela and Nura, helping Jaswant Singh in refilling the ammunitions and it is believed that he shot 300 Chinese soldiers, who were trying to invade India. Chinese adopted a strategy to cut down the rations getting supplied to the Indian Battalion so that Indian soldiers get tired and it would be easy for them to invade.

They tracked down a person who was supplying ration to an Indian army and he was asked “how many soldiers are there in the battalion” and the ration supplier told “it was only one brave soldier Jaswant Singh” listening to this the Chinese were shocked thinking that only one soldier resisting the strong force of 300 plus Chinese soldiers entering Indian boarder from past three days.

This humiliated Chinese and decided to knock down Rifleman Jaswant Singh and with much humiliation they approached to the Indian post with grenade attacks which killed a local girl Sela and they captured Nura and before they can nab the brave soldier Jaswant Singh, Jaswant Singh decided to kill himself like Chandrashekar Azad, he took his last cartridge and loaded it and shot into his head.

But Chinese were not happy with Jaswant’s decision of sacrificing his life for motherland so with the great humiliation feeling which they had, made them to chop off the head off Jaswant Singh and took across the border (Land of China). After ceasefire, Chinese commander was so impressed with the bravery of the Indian soldier that, he returned back the chopped head of Jaswant Singh along with brass bust of his (statue of Jaswant Singh). Even today we can see the brass bust installed at the battle site.

The saga of Jaswant Singh continues as Ghost to local people and Saint for military people:
If you visit Tawang District of Arunachal Pradesh via Sela Pass (which is world’s second highest motor-able road), you must visit to the Temple built in the name of Jaswant Singh known as “Jaswant Garh”. The shrine of Jaswant Singh has been a witness to many tales and also inspiration to military soldiers. For military persons Jaswant Singh has become ‘Saint’ or ‘Jaswant Baba’ and some local people call him as a Ghost. Every morning Jaswant Singh is served with bed tea at 4:30 am, breakfast at 9am and dinner at 7pm and five army soldiers are at his service round the clock. Though the fact is that Jaswant Singh is no more but still there is astha (strong belief) among Garhwal Rifles that Jaswant Singh soul protects them at treacherous mountain terrain.

Army Generals passing by this route make sure that they take blessings of Jaswant Singh brass bust at Jaswant Garh, if they did not do so they will get a curse, it was told by Garhwal battalion soldier. And one day, a major general refused to pay tribute to Jaswant Singh’s shrine saying that it was just a superstitious belief and within few distance of his travel he met with a mysterious road accident and died.

At Jaswant Garh there is separate cook who prepares food for Jaswant Singh, makes his bed, iron his clothes and polishes his booth every day & doors of the shrine is closed in the night. And in the morning his bed is found crumpled and his freshly ironed clothes lie crushed on the floor and his shoes are found soiled & dirty. Army soldiers who are sleeping on night duty get a sense of beating from stick and they believe its Jaswant Singh who remind of their duty.

According to the locals and Garhwal soldiers say that, his spirit roams around the area and comes in the dreams and solve their problems. Even today Jaswant Singh is getting promotions and his promotions have reached to the rank of Honorary Captain.

He is there on those terrains protecting Indian Army from Chinese invaders and has become source of inspiration to Garhwal Battalions and people of Arunachal Pradesh.

Salute to Jaswant Singh Rawat….Salute to Indian Army..

Jai Ho…!!!!!!

“Branding” is it new terminology for Indian companies or we know it from Vedic period???

Today people are more concerned about the Brand and have become choosier in selecting the branded product when compared to other product which gives them equal satisfaction. Why do you think the other product which gave similar sense of satisfaction but failed to make its imprint in its consumer’s mind? Well it’s a game of psychology which the company plays in our mind by promoting their products associated with music, smell, touch and experience. For instance A.R. Rahman performing magic on the key board becomes the “Brand Music” for Airtel, Zoozoo’s advertisement in IPL became the brand ambassadors for Vodafone, Red for Coco Cola, bitten apple is for Apple, check mark for Nike, Golden M for Mc Donald……wait a sec how many of these are Indian companies…???

At the count of 10 seconds we hardly remember less than six desi product name (if not mistaken in those six name you would have taken three names which are from service-oriented industry but not product-oriented).

Let me tell you “Did you know facts about Branding”, the oldest brand which is in use today is an Indian product “Chyawanprash” which dates back to 1100 B.C to 500 B.C i.e. Vedic period. Chyawanprash is herbal paste used for health benefits and Chyawanprash was named after Rishi Chyavana as he was the first person prepared this paste. And today Dabur Company uses this paste with the name “Dabur Chyawanprash”.

In the list of Interbrand Best Indian Brands 2014, most of the companies got listed in it is financial services companies like SBI, LIC, HDFC, ONGC, Axix Bank, Punjab National Bank, Yes Bank, Induslnd Bank etc.. Here the point which I am going to put forward is that services of all these financial companies’ sales are comparatively very less when we consider Britannia products sales or with the products of AMUL which it delivers its product to the households of India.

If we carry out a survey in the households of India we may not find life insurance policy made or any SB account opened in the nationalized bank but at least we would get to have biscuits and tea. In India its common routine in rural sector to offer tea and biscuits to the guest, I wonder these products which are basic needs in Indian mass has its brand positioned at 40 or sometimes no name in the list.

These FMCG companies should try to build up the brand value so that they can face tough competition from global brands in home soil, consumers still believe in Indian product quality, trust, consistency of performance, relevance and emotional connect. The desi brand has to improve upon on building brand value and work to embrace the brand in home soil and then look for building up the brand in global.
